Packing Process

Intake Process
Upon arrival at our state-of-the-art packing house, the avocados undergo a rigorous intake process. Each avocado undergoes preliminary inspection for any visible signs of external damage or blemishes. Our people ensure no damage occurs during transfer from transport vehicles.
Processing & Cleaning
Avocados are gently brushed to remove loose dirt, debris, or leaves from harvest and transport. They undergo gentle sanitization using food-safe solutions for export shipments, then carefully dried using air blowers to prevent moisture affecting shelf life.
Quality Check
Trained personnel perform series of quality checks focusing on size and color consistency, ensuring uniformity in size and consistent color appropriate for ripeness stage. All avocados are inspected for blemishes, defects, or imperfections.
Packing
Avocados are sorted by size and grade, then gently placed in specially designed crates. We offer customizable packaging solutions and standard crates in 4kg, 5kg, and 10kg sizes to meet various customer needs and preferences.
Cooling
Packed avocados are cooled after packing to extend shelf life and maintain quality during transit. Chilling slows the ripening process and prevents avocados from becoming overripe before reaching their destination.
Shipping
Packed avocados are carefully loaded onto refrigerated trucks maintained by trusted logistics companies. Meticulous temperature control ensures your Depalta Enterprise avocados arrive at their destination in optimal condition.
